Lots of uncertainty with the planned separation

Pros

The people and compensation and benefits were great, but lack of confidence with new senior leadership, many of the best employees and talent have jumped ship during the transition due to loss of pension, ans serious concern of the viability of the business model without the bigger resources of pharma and medical device business units.

Cons

Senior leadership is untested, lots of talented leaders and individuL contributors have left during the transition, risky to be Ina business that could be stopped up by private equity, due to prepping for IPO, many non stratwgic decisions were made that were short term focused and not in the best long term interest of the new separated company, mission and values that were not aligned to the doctors, nurses, patients, etc.

Pros

Writing this pains me because my time at Kenvue and previously JNJ was actually quite good. My team was incredible and filled with a lot of dedicated, hard-working colleagues that were ready to collaborate and uphold a system of values and standards. Kenvue itself had great benefits and all and all, I had a wonderful boss, whom is no longer with the company, who allowed me to have a great work-life balance. Unfortunately Kenvue decided those values and knowledge replaceable, and laid off our entire team.

Cons

Kenvue does NOT value employees, point blank. They only value dollar signs and what they can get out of you. They preach work-life balance and owner mindset, and a lot of other corporate garbage but ultimately do not uphold the practices they preach. It's a shame because they let go of a lot of people who actually cared deeply about the products and problem-solving to provide the best care to consumers.
