Pros

I extract mail and process forms in designated batches. The work is so incredibly easy, it's crazy how much I get paid for it! Very laid-back work environment, paid breaks, friendly co-workers, easy job duties, great pay. We're allowed to listen to music and eat at our desk as we work. Management doesn't micro-manage, as long as you do your job and do it well, they won't bother you.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Salary is good. Great Learning and Development department ( great trainers)

Cons

Didn't realize how horrible health plan was until I was in the hospital for a week. I had the best plan available, yet I ended up with a massive medical bill. Management is horrible- Do NOT believe them ( Corporate/HR) when they say they have an open door policy... And a no retaliation policy when you decide to report something illegal and unethical. Communication is horrible- And they don't encourage team work or try to make you feel like you're really part of the organization, I was bullied and harassed and after reporting documented incidents along with illegal and unethical incidents by my manager and other staff members, things became so much worse for me.

Pros

base salary and bonus structure are great. Internal/support departments are incredibly helpful. I would consider working there again, just not in a sales role.

Cons

Upper management does not care about employees or customers. I often worked over 40 hours per week (which I expected and don't mind), but when I casually mentioned it to my manager I was told not to bring it up again. Ironically, there was a class-action lawsuit for just such practices and I did receive some extra pay. Investment Advisers chose mutual funds and annuities based on payout, not client needs. The final straw came when I attended a training led by the regional manager. His advice was to "twist the knife in our customer's weaknesses to convinced them our solutions are best". He's no longer with the company, but overall this is the companies mentality. Sales through fear, regardless of pay, is no way to conduct business.
