Pros

Casual dress, good benefits, decent pay, fun activities all the time. Break rooms were well stocked. People were fun to work with, usually.

Cons

Training was extremely lacking and inconsistent. They do not give you a chance to fight for your job.

Pros

PlattForm is a full-service agency so you have a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. They are the largest agency in KC and the staff is smart and fun. Also - no keeping track of billable hours. Culture is what they are really known for. Work hard and play hard. Flex half-day Fridays all summer. Many clients have been with the agency for many years, which speaks to the talent and service of the team. There are specific training and development plans for team members. Great place to start your agency career AND a great place to grow your career too. People care about your success. Work/Life Balance is a priority not just something that sounds good.

Cons

Some people say that work at PlattForm is stressful, but really in advertising didn't you not think you were going to have to live up to client expectations? That can be stressful. Advertising is not for everyone! PlattForm gives you tools to deal with it like free access to an on-site gym and lots of training to get better at your job. One con is that sometimes you get so busy in the day to day that it is hard to find time to plan and think ahead. Must be good at project and time management and carve out time to be strategic.
