Pros

It is a very welcoming and supportive environment. There are some changes going on right now and leadership has been very transparent with how the employees are feeling about the change and are offering specific examples and a plan on how concerns will be addressed. This is really rare in my experience. So far, the culture seems excellent and everyone is truly pleasant to work with. I get the impression that leadership cares about their employees as people, from the top down.

Cons

The one thing I would change is the time off. While there are a couple pools (mental health - 2 days, floating holidays - 3 days), the largest pool is a combined just general PTO of 15 days. I think combining sick time and 'vacation' time encourages people to work through illnesses so they don't sacrifice PTO for things like family time or vacations. I would love to see sick time separated out.

Thank you for your feedback. I will take this information back to our HR team for discussion. As you can imagine lots of discussion around work life balance and have tried to be flexible with time off versus boxing time off into one category or another. But, your thoughts are very welcomed and appreciate taking the time to do so steve

Pros

Work from home - ability to work from home and being provided the equipment to do so is invaluable! Friendly people - I can't speak for every team and business unit, but my AD is there when I have questions and is supportive. Team Dynamic - even working remotely, I feel very close to my team and believe we all work well together.

Cons

15 days PTO - let's move with the times and provide some sick leave so people don't have to dig into their hard-earned PTO time when they're unwell or need medical treatment. That's not a vacation. Even a week of sick leave would be better than nothing. Diversity lacking - this was sad to see. When I was looking into Keypath, I was drawn to one of their values being diversity. However, that doesn't seem to translate past the first tier of workers. All the managers/ADs that I've encountered are White. These folks are great people, but that's not very diverse, and it makes me as a person of color (POC) feel worried. If I don't see many POCs in management/upper leadership roles, that speaks as to if there really is a commitment to promote and support diversity within the company. I also haven't seen much in the ways of ongoing diversity and inclusion training and development (which is listed on the website as something that's done). Granted, I've only been here a few months, so I'm hoping I see more of this. But we can do better in this area, for sure. Upward mobility/promotions - In my interview, I asked about company growth and upward mobility in terms of moving up in the company. The answer I was given made it seem like this would most definitely be an option, but at least in my department, Placement, I don't see it happening.

Appreciate the note. And glad you enjoy our work from home policies. We are really trying to insure folks have a great work environment to succeed. In terms of your comments on diversity we have done a lot of work this past year, but we can definitely do better and we will. Our D&I is headed up by Robin Washington. I hope you were on the all staff meeting earlier and heard everything she has in her plans. Also, really encourage you to get involved in the DISC team as you seem like someone who wants to make an impact. Joining is a great way to do so Be well and as I always have said, reach out directly. Steve.fireng@keypathedu.com Steve
