Pros

They present them selves as a Company who cares for their employees, yet there is such a disconnect from Cooperate and their offices located in other states.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, and focus is more on the corporate office then their other location.

Thanks for your feedback and really sorry that your experience was not positive. We work really hard to connect our staff across the globe. But as you can imagine having offices in UK, Canada, Australia, and US can pose challenges. We do have weekly calls across the globe and have quarterly best practices meetings. It sounds like you were not part of these communications. Many employees have mentioned how collaborative and open Keypath is with communications, but as you mentioned we can always improve. I wish you all the best and thanks again for feedback.

Broken Promises

Pros

They make their promises believable.

Cons

They will buy the company you work for and then lay you off. They'll say they don't want to continue business in your location or say your job was relocated. Then offer 2 weeks "severance." Oh and if you relocate for a job with them, they'll lay you off too. It doesn't matter to them. You're just a number.

I am very sorry about the change we had in your office. It certainly had nothing to do with the employees. Needed to simplify our office structure and consolidate into one location. We certainly tried to make this transition less difficult (and a bit different that your indicated) but I understand this change can be hard. I wish you all the best.

Pros

Good stepping stone for young employees to get some training before moving on, and the management is completely aware- hiring and paying only entry level.

Cons

Changing their name from PlattForm to Keypath is a sign of how hard this company is struggling. The entire company is based on selling leads to career colleges. Every penny that can be cut, every sly trick that can be played to make more money from leads to career colleges is standard practice, including reselling the clients the same leads every thirty days. The good people there spend so much time and energy trying to make the work environment decent. When I left I did t realize that I had been working under a constant sense of panic during my years there. The health insurance is a shameful high deductible health plan. Leadership will tell you that is the standard for jobs now, but it is certainly not the case. Other companies just down the street will give you decent health insurance and a better salary. It isn't a surprise that sush a huge portion of the employees are right out of school, and still with their parents.

I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience and certainly hope you found a better fit. To respond to your comments: For clarification, the company name change had nothing to do with “struggling” and everything to do with our evolution to provide universities with the best solutions for sustainability. During the past 2 years we have launched Online Program Management, opened offices in Australia and UK, and rolled out a career preparation business … to name just a few developments. The name change from PlattForm to Keypath Education gave us an opportunity to tell that story. I thoroughly disagree with your comment regarding our relationship with career colleges. We have been supporting these schools with innovative marketing practices for 26 years and continue to do so today. I can indeed understand the frustration with the previous health insurance package(s). We heard our employees concerns and immediately addressed them with significant and positive changes that roll out on April 1st. The employee feedback from this change has been supportive and positive. Steve
