Pros

Benefits you'd expect from the publicly listed company, such as a nice office, discounted products and occasional staff perks. Plenty of challenges to solve if you're into the corporate game.

Cons

High staff turnover (way above normal rates) is definitely an issue, however it hasn't been addressed properly. The company positions itself as an EdTech constituents, however it's run as a call centre. The executives have built a very odd culture, almost acting as a club promoter making people believe they're part of some cool party. To that extent, the management's focus and internal investments (if any) are misplaced. Naturally, departments have evolved into isolated pockets, where some employees are shielded from daily grind and can comfortably earn their salaries, whereas others end up spending lots of hours compensating for various deficiencies that have evolved due to lack of investment, staff training and proper management oversight. You get a sense that executives are milking the company for its incentive packages with non existent performance hurdles. Leadership is underwhelming for a company presented as a global EdTech player.

Pros

Free breakfast which included bread and cereal

Cons

Very unethical company. Push students to enrol in courses that they aren't likely to complete just to get commission from the university. Students enrolled by keypath have very low completion rate of around 20%. This unethical behaviour was exhibited when they listed on the stock market. They marketed themselves as a tech company when they are really just a high pressure sales and admin company. There's a reason their shares have crashed by 2/3rds in a year. Terrible place to work and very unethical.

I am happy to speak directly on your concerns since what you are saying is very serious allegations that I believe to be false. My email is steve.fireng@keypathedu.com . As you know we do not accept students into the program, that is the choice of the university to insure the applicants that apply meet the university requirements to get accepted. No doubt we want to sell the value of a degree and benefits. As every university does...... But, it does us zero good to have a student start and not graduate. Our fees are paid as a student progresses not a student starting? Any way I am serious if you want to chat and listen to your concerns and if any thing you mentioned is true take action. Steve

Pros

flexibility for student enrollment adviser diverse conscious

Cons

- No support or training for managers - Career progression due to favouritism (i.e. personal relationships within the management group) - Changing the goal posts mid reporting period - setting Managers up for failure - Requirement to act in the Manager role without the benefit of the salary - A culture where "yes men/women" are celebrated regardless of outcomes in performance - Upper management addressing management in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. - Upper management threatening role stability to improve performance but not providing constructive feedback.
