Pros

Decent pay if you are just getting out of college If you stay with them and are doing great, easy to move upward mobility

Cons

-No time to leave at a decent hour (you will be looked down upon if you do) -You have a set base pay (which is nice), but at some days you are working 9-10 hours and there is no OT (because of the base) -No matter what, it is a cold calling job but they said it is "recruiting" (so if you do not like sales/cold calling, dont even bother) -If you are not performing at the minimum or at peak performance, they will have no problem of letting you go. (I was not let go, i just heard of people being let go * just like that)

Pros

- Employees can typically gain a large amount of hands on experience in a very short time, making it very easy to find re-employment when the time comes - Parking is free - Prepares employees for hard core corporate atmosphere - Major initiatives are always changing and often implemented just to be undone months later, making work interesting and "fast paced" - Everything is a secret, which makes work seem much more exciting than it really is - Depending on if you are the flavor of the day, your value at the Firm could be astronomical. (Although the fall from the top is a long one and can happen at anytime and for any (no) reason) - Reporting is inconsistent, so you can appear to make money with low/negative margin, small time deals for a very long time before being discovered - Anything goes when it comes to making a sale, no holds barred

Cons

- Not a great place to work anymore - that tagline is a distant memory - Politics, gossip and groupthink now define Kforce - Career progression is not well defined, encouraged or planned for - Although a corporation by name, most decisions are made at the field level. Many "Mom and Pop" practices still in play which makes it difficult to scale and grow efficiently. - The "Mom and Pop" mentality also prevents consultants from being consistently employed - Not keeping pace with industry developments like technology, urban development and professional development - There are no leaders, just folks in managerial roles - The brand is highly inconsistent, making resume building with a career at Kforce a bit tricky. You never know when a future employer may have had a completely horrible experience with the Firm. - Employees are expendable and are let go with ease - You will be expected to work long hours with little reward or recognition - Stagnant management - Unrealistic and undefined strategy to get to a $ figure makes it difficult to understand your role

Pros

There is an on-site gym (Reston, VA)

Cons

Immature management. Employees are not welcomed to make comments or suggestions in meetings. If you arrive 2 minutes past your start time, management wants to know why. You are expected to work like robots with zero errors ever. If you are working in excess of 5 minutes past your end time, you are expected to inform both mangers. If those managers are out of the office, you are expected to text them to let them know you stayed 5 minutes past the end of your shift. You aren't allowed to eat lunch at your desk for 15 minutes and then leave the office the remaining 45 minutes of your lunch time. There is no solid training. Only a 2-week on-line training course that has nothing to do with your job duties. Management never has your back and will never defend you. You are meant to feel as if you don't matter and you are always paranoid.
