Pros

3 words - Work Life Balance! Kimberly-Clark is an excellent place to work for great work life balance. It is extremely flexible with office/face time as long as the work is getting done.

Cons

Kimberly-Clark is a complex matrix organization that has too many people and layers for effective decision making that all have to be on the same page before a recommendation or decision will be pushed up through the layers.

Pros

Well known employeer in the Fox valley - great to have on your resume when looking for other jobs. Lots variety in jobs within the company. Exposure to global business. Generally a friendly cooperative environment.

Cons

Questionable management strategies in the last few years. Like announcing 18 months out a 50% layoff in the IT department and expecting that any good talent will stick around. Then trying to replace people with outsourcing and expecting that things will be business as usual (because people are like Legos, just swap them around as needed – that always works!).
