Pros

Remote Company/Work from home benefit

Cons

Despite promoting a culture of transparency, this company operates in a manner that contradicts that principle. Leadership, including HR, fosters a toxic work environment where trust is scarce. Employees who dedicate significant effort often find their contributions undervalued and deemed insufficient. Decision-making appears inconsistent, with leadership lacking clear direction. Additionally, individuals are placed in roles for which they may not be suited. Rather than valuing employees as individuals, the company treats them as mere numbers. While initial impressions from recruiters may be positive, new hires quickly realize there is little guidance, and compensation and benefits fall short of expectations.

Pros

Remote work, many great coworkers

Cons

Constantly increasing rates, making it harder to sell and increasing goals at the same time. The agents who are selling the most are typically offering extremely low coverage and really high deductibles because that was the only way to get a competitive price. I felt pressured to neglect my fiduciary duty and offer this type of coverage to meet my goals. Overhired, extremely slow for about 5 months but reassured over and over that the volume will increase soon. When they couldn't gaslight any more, they had to admit that Management's projections were wrong and many agents were the ones to pay the price with mass layoffs. Terrible upper management that messed up projections and lied about it.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. As a member-owned company, it’s crucial to us that we provide coverage that truly benefits our customers, and we never want agents to feel pressured to offer anything less than what's best. As a growth-stage company, we aim to align our team’s structure and resources with both our current needs and our future goals as we expand into new markets. While our goal is to always serve our customers and employees to the best of our ability, we recognize there’s always room for improvement. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the best moving forward.
