      Pros

      HR does their best to hire people who work well with others. Pay is slightly better than average in the Ottawa area. Top management tries to make it a fun place to work.

      Cons

      Stiff management hierarchy means if you have a bad manager, you are probably screwed. A lot of technical debt and undocumented code/processes means new hired will run into a lot of obstacles.

      Great Product and Remote Flexibility, But Leadership Lacks Vision

      Pros

      Remote working flexibility, allowing for a great work-life balance. My immediate team has an open mindset, and collaboration is encouraged. The product itself is strong and has great potential.

      Cons

      Senior leadership, especially at the C-level, struggles with execution and decision-making. There seems to be a lack of clear direction on where to take the company next. While the product is solid, the leadership’s inability to make timely decisions is holding the company back from realizing its full potential.
