      Pros

      You do learn a lot, quickly! You have a lot of responsibility and it's basically sink or swim! Good way to learn time management

      Cons

      Frequently under staffed. Never get out close to being on time. Salary is low for the amount of work you do.

      Pros

      top leadership believes in quality of care, great benefits, the message at the top is so positive and encouraging it makes you want to work there. I am afforded a generous budget for supplies and labor which allows me to do an excellent job taking care of sick elderly patients

      Cons

      middle management that demeans you, they have a terrible way of motivating leaders at the facility level and make you feel it is all about the numbers, not supportive at all, in fact they have been downright threatening and abusive at times on conference calls and facility leaders have felt demoralized and had no means of recourse. The Compliance line is great for line staff to call and tell a bunch of lies, but leaders who have real issues are afraid to use it for fear of retribution. Another issue is the mentality of my work force...too many feel that we are privileged to have them work for us, instead of them feeling privileged to have a job. So many of them are not in this profession for the right reasons, the amount of game playing is ridiculous,

      I am very fortunate to work for a IS group that is very professional and intelligent. Most individuals that seek out professional development will receive it. When I describe this place to others outside of Kindred, they cannot believe how much I love it here. I always receive nothing but the up most respect and encourageme

      Not much room for advancement since indivduals stay here for over 10 years. This company may change drastically with some of the "C" suite sunsetting soon?
