Pros

My peers were awesome people. The members are also great.

Cons

The management doesn't value their employees. They treat you as though you are expendable and when you challenge their methods of getting results they make you a target. Don't accept anything at face value, because they will always come back to you and use anything good over your head. The regional managers clearly don't like each other and make everything really uncomfortable. They hold you to standards, but refuse to let you know what they are or change them month to month. They rolled out a TKX (the kinecta experience) culture change but it is really a facade. All they want from you is to do pushy sales but disguise it as a "courtesy" and when you try to really focus on helping the member you are told to let it go or move on. There is a fear of retribution if you speak up about something that isn't right, and they definitely don't use this TKX culture with their own employees. My best advice is to run away. Don't work here unless you want the worst stress and little to no incentive for the work you do.

Pros

Good benefits. Remote work. Free Parking. Kinecta Kantina (bar). Soda and coffee machines. Gym.

Cons

Reference “Chaos in Marketing - Beware” Review from 9/19/21. This separate review sums up what has happened in Marketing since September 2021 and nothing has changed so far. The team has provided many detailed reports - sometimes weekly - to Human Resources describing questionable decisions and behaviors of the new CMO. Other senior leaders across the organization have first-hand experience with the dysfunction on the team. At this point, the CEO is aware of and evidently accepts this toxic work environment. No one formerly or currently on the team would say that Kinecta Marketing is a Great Place to Work. It's so sad that Kinecta is risking longtime, loyal, passionate, talented employees who care about Kinecta and honestly care about each other. More than 60% of the team have voluntarily left since the new CMO started and others have gone on leave of absences. That is a huge red flag to anyone considering employment. The news that the CMO was resigning a few weeks ago was cause for celebration, but now that he is staying (something seems fishy) many of the remaining members of the team are dusting off their resumes and looking for escape. Not more money. Not better titles. Just not Kinecta.

Pros

Kantina (Free Bar) Free Parking Gym Good Benefits

Cons

Long Hours Unrealistic Goals/Deadlines No room for creativity Very slow opportunity for growth New CMO pushing for in person meetings during a pandemic, two team members got COVID and then everyone in the meeting had to go and get tested due to exposure. CMO pushed out more than half the marketing team but did not reduce any workload, only added more. I was doing the work of 4 people when I left and I asked multiple times for work relief. CMO requested I not take any PTO on top of it. CMO goes against Kinecta's "core" values and nothing is done about it. I thought I was going to retire here. The new CMO came in and destroyed the marketing department. He will talk over you, not listen, ask multiple times for the same item, and belittle you. He is not caring or compassionate. He uses others to micro manage for him. He will never take blame for anything. It is always someone else's fault even when you can prove him wrong and show him his own emails with time stamps. It is sad that when he was brought in, he was given a very strong team who got along and excelled in many ways but he was able to ruin the department moral and make employees feel like they had no other options but to leave the company. Like other reviews say, he is very toxic and extremely hard to work with. He makes the work very stressful and I dreaded working everyday for him. He is the definition of a dictator versus a leader. Even if he were to leave, I would not go back to Kinecta knowing that they allowed someone to be there for so long with so many complaints and going against the "core" values, which are supposedly held so sacred.
