Pros

The compensation is generally very good. Many of the staff work a four-day work week, giving them a three day weekend. Fair degree of automomy given to employees to get their jobs done. Deployed great field technology -- and then totally dropped the ball.

Cons

Department lacks inspired leadership, modern management. More prone to generate fear in the workplace instead of inspire workforce.

Pros

It is an interesting place to work and you learn a lote about the election process. They deliver a quality election cycle. There is a high degree of pride in the quality of work done by the staff.

Cons

Constant organizational change which leads to an unsettled feeling among employees. Not all staff are treated consistently or given the same opportunities as others.
