Pros

Solid leadership, engaged management, forward looking, results driven. A rare level of government where best practices of the private sector come together with a public service commitment.

Cons

Some elected officials are wildly over their heads, driven by ego and obsessed with acquiring more power for their own aggrandizement.

Pros

Impacting the end result(s) for tax payers. Making a difference for the constituents. Helping the Public and taxpayers.

Cons

Manipulative culture, focusing on what's in it for them as opposed to how to be better at government. Many people across various lines of business in King County do not collaborate together; instead they oppose each other and thwart each other's progress.
