Pros

The amount of trial training is top notch! If you want trial experience this is the place to be.

Cons

Although the trial experience is great, you work very long hours, can get easily burnt out, and have to put up with supervising attorneys who expect you to work weekends (including Sundays) because caseloads are high and "man-power" is low.

Pros

Great benefits, good salary, great Executive.

Cons

The Exec has spearheaded the idea of employee engagement and the concept of "Be the Difference." It is a wonderful notion full of great potential. But the people in management positions didn't get there by being the difference. They got there by being the same. In fact, I would argue that being the difference is quite likely career minimizing and maybe worse. I don't see anything happening to change county management, such as it is.

Pros

Benefit and stability. No overtime (could be stressful at time, but good overall.)

Cons

District Court Union. Strongly believe Union creates the tidy lousy employees who is labeled as a "typical" Government worker.
