Pros

Easy going, nice people, they claim to encourage cross training. They claim to train you. None of that ever came true for me.

Cons

Not a lot of follow thru on a promise. No guaranteed hours and you will get a lot of unpaid hours due to requirements of the job. Winter layoffs even though they say they don't. The work will end up not being enough hours to live on. Inspections are biased to please the paying clients. Hesitant to put in positions that you should be put in even with plenty of experience and degrees. Clickish,

Pros

Some good people but executive management has been so bad for 5 years that most good people have left for better jobs

Cons

Constant cash flow and debt issues trickle into every part of the business. Constant pressure on PMs to increase fees for clients, find ways to cut costs (at the expense of serving our clients at times), utilization, utilization, utilization... the rank and file suffer the poor choices and decisions of top two executives (one is gone now (overdue but better late than never) #2 continues to foster a culture of distrust, favoritism and poor-performance.)

Promises not kept and no raises.

Pros

Interesting projects but management of office is constant chaos and panic about profits.

Cons

Management has no technical experience but bills to projects and directs others to do same if utilization low so when planned staff do the technical work no budget left or overages billed to client. Promises tied to employee performance not kept when all employee goals met and no raises blamed on company and office performance while office manager receives compensation.
