      Best team I have worked with in many years

      Pros

      I have worked for the Federal Government (EPA), Local Government (Port of Oakland) large (AECOM) and small (H&A) firms, but Kleinfelder is the best mix of management that listens, employees that work as a team and a desire to build the business and grow as a company and as individuals. There has been some major changes in management and I can't say much about the way things were, but my experience is that management listens and cares about the employees. There is a lot of opportunity and if you have an idea about using new technology, or pursuing new markets or anything that improves service to our clients, you can find an ear. And as far as staff goes, everyone I have worked with has been collaborative and technically excellent. All in all, it has been a great work environment. Two BIG thumbs up!

      Cons

      Kleinfelder is a medium sized company and utilization tends to be high. That makes it a bit difficult to expand into new areas. Teams tend to be focused on the issue at hand.

      Pros

      Co-Workers, in the office I worked in the manager's cared about their employees, they have great activities, and monthly meetings to keep the employees up to date on where the company is at, and the project's they are working on.

      Cons

      The company is still laying off employees, and health insurance is going up every year. The company is going through a lot of changes.
