Pros
Employees and managers (not leadership) were enthusiastic, intelligent, and kind. Many of those have left since the market turned and hiring mostly stopped.
Cons
Leadership gloats about its talented and highly-educated employees but treats them like idiots. Promises are made and ignored while feigned optimism comes off as insincerity. The fact that all equity given is lost once you leave (unless by some miracle there’s a liquidation event that isn’t bankruptcy) really makes you feel like an expandable auxiliary instead of a team member.
