Pros
1. Set Mon-Thurs 4AM-2:30PM schedule. 2. All receiving co-workers and certain co-workers from other departments.
Cons
1. Pay was horrible. They loved to dangle the carrot when it came to yearly reviews by only giving you about a 60 cent raise no matter how good your review was. The math did not math when it came to your score and the raise you earned. 2. The receiving department is treated like the grunts of the warehouse even though receiving is the most physically demanding job in the whole building. If receiving was slow we'd be sent to help other departments, if we were busy and other departments were slow they'd send majority of their people home. 3. Lack of communication amongst the whole building, all departments were definitely not on the same page. Often had to ask people from other departments "what was your meeting about?" only to be informed of a new policy or SOP that apparently applies to the whole building even though there was no meeting for receiving. 4. Nepotism and favoritism, there are quite a bit of pairs (or groups) of relatives that work there which is not a problem. But, ironically the one's related to a person in a position of power were treated very differently. 5. Bonuses. When they weren't increasing the standard you had to make per hour or creating new policies to slow you down, your numbers were definitely being manipulated by management. Very, very weird dynamic of gaslighting where they would hound everyone about making bonus, get on you if you didn't make your bonus, yet through their actions couldn't have made it any clearer that they didn't want to give you a bonus at all. 5. Most of management from top to bottom seemed like they do not have any prior warehouse experience or management experience at all. From not knowing how to talk to people, to getting way too comfortable in their positions, to making decisions that really make you wanna scratch your head. It is sad at the amount of company money I saw wasted while I worked there. 6. "We are listening" meetings. Ironic name considering the majority of the meeting was leadership carefully shooting down any advice or feedback given. And often employees who had a lot of feedback would never be selected to attend again while the one's who didn't say much would always somehow get randomly selected. 7. No chance of career growth, at least in Spring 2025 on the West Coast, they are actively downgrading and expecting employees to do a lot more with no increase in pay. Very unethical company, from what I've witnessed to stories I've heard from fellow former employees which I'll leave at that so as not to put their business out there.
