Good place for people with no future.

Pros

Amazing co-workers, flexible hours, good company discounts, many nearby good place to eat.

Cons

Web development department is totally broken, clueless management, they are there just because they have been working for the company long time. No SDLC, stupid rules like you can't even eat a snack at your desk, dress code, no parking, overcrowded building, no employee engagement, you are treated like the lowest worker. Nothing to learn here, completely messed up.

Did some freelance copywriting. Flexible with good pay and cool staff. Product descriptions were easy to write.

Cons

No real training on what they're looking for in the copywriting department, so you have to hit the ground running.

Schedule flexibility, Decent coworkers, Good company to develop communication skills. Good company to build basic time management skills, customer service skills, technical skills relating to residential lighting. Stable job.

Cons

Low to medium compensation, co-workers have basic education, sometimes high stress, no growth. Upper management doesn't really care about keeping good employees by raising pay above maximum raise allowance.
