Worst experience I've had working in retail in my 8 years in leadership. I interviewed for the Store Manager position and then was offered an ASM role as an ASM/Store Manager in training. I accepted the position because the interviewer I believed would be a great coach. However, this was not the case. My training manager that was suppose to retire in a few months ended up being the worst person to work for. I was sexually harassed, insulted in front of my whole team, and degraded. I was told my medical condition shouldn't put me out of a full day of work. This person would send countless emails that were disrespectful and I sent them all to HR. HR conducted an investigation and kept the employee and put them in a work from home position. Basically rewarded them for a terrible job. They took away my promotion and asked for me to come back as an ASM. Of course I denied and asked for every penny they owned me. Now the store is closing and I'm happy I got out.

I got paid minimum wage, while doing the job that should have been for 2 people. Double the work, with no help. They pay their sales team a lot more money, with consistent bonuses. Warehouse people work way harder for barely any money, not worth it.
