      Pros

      Depending on the department, the management is excellent. They try hard to be transparent and are often open to talk. Work/life balance is respected.

      Cons

      Moving within the company is very difficult. People tend to find their place and own it for years (and I mean 10+ years), even the lower level position.

      The people and culture is what makes LMI great. They are both connected to its non profit mission which provides the government with unbiased insights.

      Cons

      You don't come to LMI to make partner in 10 years. Expect to keep your same role for a long time. LMI is burdened by bueraracy which gets in the way of good people. Those who are best at the bueraracy excel.
