Pros

Flexible schedule, good location, nice building

Cons

The company hasn’t quite evolved past the 1960s. The good old boys mentality makes for a pretty uncomfortable and unfriendly environment, especially for women. There’s a lot of discrimination and blatant sexual harassment running rampant and the senior leaders remain in denial as they are often the worst offenders. The focus is also solely on money and bottom line with little room for the human beings that actually make the business operate: The benefits package is prehistoric and those employees that are not in sales or senior management are treated quite poorly. It’s unfortunate because they seem to be able to attract talented people, but those people tend not to stay long because of the unpleasant culture.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate this was your experience, as LONG strives to create a professional, respectful, and productive environment for all. With the recent acquisition, 2014 was certainly a year of transition, but we are proud of the collaboration and culture leadership and employees alike have worked to build. These efforts have fortunately proven to be fruitful, as LONG was recognized as one of Denver's Top Workplaces in 2015. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Pros

Benefits and pay are nice People in Denver area offices are nice

Cons

Bait and switch company. Vague job descriptions, end up doing work that is nothing like what you were told. Skirt around communication and give vague answers. I often felt like I was told what I wanted to hear, even if it wasn’t the reality of the situation. I relocated my family for this position and crashed and burned. Management is nice/good people, but terrible at running a business. Some people are very inappropriate to younger people and to women. Overall disappointing. I wish I had thought this through more instead of being blindsided by the great salary and benefits.

Pros

Friendly co-workers Decent hours and schedule

Cons

I am very upset with this company, honestly. I was so excited to start this role and grow with what I thought to be an excellent company. However, the lack of support for new employees is disgusting, and how they treat women is even worse. Great deals of misogyny, sexism, and inappropriate comments from both contractors and fellow employees. When you say something about it, you are brushed off. I am so disappointed since they brag about being inclusive and a great place to work. I have never had a professional experience this bad. Management needs to go.
