Pros

Great Industry, and a lot of potential market growth.

Cons

The nepotism is unreal. Unfortunately, this company could be in a phenomenal position; however, due to keeping unqualified friends and family in key positions they will continue to flounder.

Pros

Free Parking Free water and coffee

Cons

Bare minimum benefits - hardly competitive when compared to any progressive company. Incompetent HR department. Complete lack of training for new hires. Lack of communication between departments - additionally, a lack of SOPs. COVID: Employees were allowed to work from home, until Ohio lifted its mandatory stay at home order, after which all staff was required to report back to work - despite increasing COVID numbers and risk. Factory workers were not furloughed or allowed to stay at home, and required to report in, without temperature screenings or any PPE offered by the company. Of course, they were not compensated with hazard pay either. Additionally, amidst a financially unfavorable year, 3 rounds of 2-week furloughs, multiple lay offs, the removal of 401K matching and PTO for all employees, 5 executives were awarded $500,000 in bonuses -$200,000 of which went to the CEO Jim Clark. The executive bonuses were awarded despite the company falling $30 million short of its target sales goal. Meanwhile, no employees have received any bonuses to date.

Not enough problem-solving.

Pros

Low-level people where I am are good.

Cons

A company so great, they talk on about gaining market share, but their product isn't cost-effective enough for their own subsidiary facilities to purchase them. That, or the mentality is that we can't afford to save money on operating costs. Rather pay me to not fix the building. I just spin my wheels on the same problems over and over that I know how to solve. Middle and lower management don't understand the "Lsi business system", and higher-level management doesn't think things through. Money is spent on the wrong things and at the wrong times.
