      Pros

      When I first got hired, I believed I was under paid but I did not negotiate at all. After a few pretty significant raises I believe I am fairly compensated. Projects can be interesting but some initiative is required, meaning you may have to come up with an interesting project yourself and then work on it. It really is an 8-5 in that you hardly ever need to take work home, which the consistency is a big plus for me. Job security is nice especially during the pandemic. Coworkers are cool people

      Cons

      The vacation policy is in my opinion the #1 reason I consider leaving. You are pretty much guaranteed to have less PTO than any of your friends that graduated. by year 10 you will get 15 days which is what many companies start with. The dress code is annoying but you get used to it. All of the restaurants that are close by are fast food/unhealthy.

      Great place for a CDL driver

      Pros

      I love it here. I have been with Labatt for a year and half. Although vacation is less than most when you start, you’ll get there after your first year. I was paid to get my CDL and now have a stable and reliable job. Pay is fantastic and management has been super helpful here at the Austin office. I have my own truck too, which is comfortable! Start early (3am to 5:30am) but finish and have solid hours. None of our drivers were laid off during Covid. I feel heard and respected here.

      Pros

      Labatt seems to be the only distributor operating with integrity and ethics! This is a great sales opportunity if you are disciplined and self-motivated. Labatt offers a competitive pay plan and cheap health insurance. They do a great job of surrounding you with the resources needed to succeed in this industry. Labatt has plenty of bright people working for this organization and supporting sales. If you cannot work independently and learn on the fly this isn’t the job for you. There are plenty of experienced reps to learn from and they are always willing to help you. Your success with the company is completely up to you.

      Cons

      No vacation time for the first year! Sales management structure can be confusing at first. Goals and expectations could be more clear and upfront. However, just ask questions and you will receive feedback.
