Pros

There are no pros to working here

Cons

When COVID hit our pay dropped significantly, because this company pays warehouse associates on commision. Management didn't lose pay and they don't care about anybody under them.

What a disgrace of a company

Pros

They pay well and used to be flexible

Cons

The COO is delusional and believes face masks do not help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. He has made multiple remarks including telling a young lady to 'get that (profanity) off your face,' when she walked into a large meeting with a mask on. They refuse to let the corporate office work from home, exposing us to over 300 people that step foot in our facility every day, including drivers from out of state. The warehouse has been talking about unionizing, but Labatt prefers their pockets to be full instead of keeping their employees safe. Job security is nonexistent as employees of 20+ years and half of the HR department were laid off. It is unbelievable the lack of responsibility this company is displaying. There are a few positive cases within the building and it is only a matter of time until it spreads to everyone. Maybe then when all of their workforce is sick at home will they regret what they did. We can do everything we do at the office in the safety our own home without having to be unnecessarily exposed to hundreds of people a day.

Pros

Typical 8-5, Monday - Friday schedule. Decent pay. That's about it.

Cons

Where to begin.....Since the pandemic started no one was allowed to work from home including employees with underlying health conditions, employees that had kids with no daycare available, etc. Doctor's notes, ADA letters being denied left and right. You don't matter, only the companies' needs matter. If you have any self-respect do NOT work for this company. Many people were also laid off including half of this department. Management lying to employees being terminated that their whole department was being removed entirely to make it seems justifiable that it wasn't just them being targeted. Employees having to take unpaid time off for their own safety or underlying health conditions since they did not want to approve employees to work from home and then being seen as selfish by upper management for doing so. Feeling like there's not job security because there is a world pandemic going on and can't help but take unpaid time off for fear of getting sick. First year no vacation, no time off. After the first year, 5 vacations days, third year 10 vacations days, then after 10 years 15 vacation days max. Fear-based Culture. Very uptight and lack of transparency. Sick time accumulates at 1 sick day every 3 months.
