Corporate isn't very considerate to staff. My work closed permanently with no warning at all, just told "at least you can file for unemployment"

Cons

Lakefield does not value its veterinarians. Of the multiple corporate veterinary groups I've worked for, Lakefield is the absolute worst with regards to treating veterinarians as expendable. They are 100% driven by profits, but they will tell you they care more about clients, employees, and work culture.

Good tech to doctor ratio; skilled techs

Cons

Management does not tell you that you have to use a PTO day for every holiday (ie, Christmas Labor Day etc) You lose 6 PTO days per year to this scam Also, they say they value support staff. What this means is that any complaint a staff member has with you goes directly to the hospital director, and yiu will receive a reprimand. You are not given a chance to respond or explain. DVMs feel like second class citizens.
