Pros

Great people, lots of locations, travel possible

Cons

Priorities are always last minute, no clear direction from management, depts don't talk to each other before starting initiatives, job role changes on a daily basis, no consistency, old and inflexible management styles, no flexibility for work from home or flex hours, impossible deadlines, no opportunity for growth (despite what they tell you), professional development is taken away due to budget, do I have to go on?

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits, the vehicle allowance for monthly employees is nice. Interesting and challenging projects that are in popular locations.

Cons

Lack of direction from management. I was hired on as an experienced (5 years) project engineer in the industrial field of construction. I was looking to get some mentorship for my new role and develop into a project engineer and eventually project manager with Lane. Unfortunately I was thrown around to 3 different projects over the first 8 months. I was assigned to projects in Tennessee and Dallas on 3 days notice after just relocating my wife to Charlotte to take the job. My supervisor changed every 2 weeks to the point where I had no idea who I was reporting to. I received no mentor or training for my role, and when I told them I couldn’t travel to Dallas for 3 weeks on 2 days notice right after Christmas, I was let go.

Pros

Nice Office, they have a gym,

Cons

Very bad management, VP's don't do anything. Low pay, lousy insurance, no bonuses. Need to get rid of management and president.
