Pros

Great product that is easy to sell when in front of the right audience.

Cons

Single-threaded product Large deals are far and few between and seasoned reps are not making any real money there Executive leadership brought in inexperienced people to run sales (at multiple levels) and it completely ruined the culture- reps are unhappy and starting to leave HR team is one of the worst I've ever experienced, they have zero interest in doing what's right by people. They preach about diversity and inclusivity, but that only applies if you fit their social narrative

Pros

Good product that many engineers like

Cons

Feels like they don’t value employees, and felt like you were a number. Recent benefits decreases (health, education stipend). In my opinion this is a drastic change from what it was previously. It feels like management wants to ship anything at all costs (in my opinion quality has deteriorated drastically). I don’t believe they care about work-life balance and I felt pressured to work extra hours just because of time zone differences. My opinion is that they are going down hill with new competitors closing the gap. Not going to speculate, but I don’t see myself exercising or investing in my granted options.

Diminishing employees' value

Pros

One of the best Feature Flagging products in the market, making the job of the sales team a breeze. If money is not an issue, it's close to impossible not to find a way to convince a customer with the value of LaunchDarkly.

Cons

Was an amazing place to work for 3 years ago, with great valuation for employees' role and contribution to the company with all treated like family. Lately, the organization seems desperate for de-privatization and shifting policies frequently, hiring and firing people, making exceptional employees leave. It's not the right place to work for now, until the new management reaches its goal and the dust settles. With the frequent downsizing in recent months, the organization has demonstrated a lack of respect for their employees by offering minimal severance packages that provide very little support for finding new employment in the current economic climate.
