honestly, besides getting a paycheck and the fact that we have flex PTO, I had very few benefits. I will say, I had a good team I worked directly with. However, the top people at the company (executives, CEO, and so on) were completely hands off and it was just not good

see the above paragraph. We, as a company, seemed to always try and find the cheapest way of doing something and go with that option. Even when it negatively affected co-workers and our clients results

Not a whole lot to say here. It was an eye-opening experience, at least. Learned what it feels like to be in an abusive professional relationship.

Cons

Unless you are one of the highest performing members of a team, you will not receive raises when expected, if at all. Middle management has very little wiggle room to give even cost-of-living raises. This is the kind of company where hard work and stress endured is rewarded with pizza parties, instead of meaningful compensation. Do not expect to build a long-term Software Engineering career here.
