Pros
I've worked for charter schools in the past with high turnover and who didn't treat staff members very well, but working for Learn4Life has been great. They treat their staff members very well, they pay well, they have numerous types of on-campus support for their teachers, and their classroom structure is much easier to work with than in a typical public school.
Cons
Because the network is very expansive (from Fresno all the way down to San Diego), a lot of directives come from an admin building that is usually very far away from where most of the schools are. This can sometimes result in (what I feel at least) can be disconnected or "out of touch" directives and sometimes tiring bureaucracy. However, local leadership is always very supportive of their staff members and tend to manage most of these issues before they hit the staff members. It is a year round school and they don't offer many pay raises (though they pay generally well and give bonuses once a year). Other than that, it's a good school system to work for.
