Pros

Very good health insurance Competitive pay for office jobs

Cons

Stingy time off package: - Sick time, vacation time and holidays are all rolled into one bank (APL, Annual Paid Leave). - Employees must use APL to get paid for taking holidays off. - Only 6 holidays are recognized (New Year's, Christmas Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day).

Pros

Good benefits and good pay

Cons

Toxicology department is poorly run. Management micromanage employees, but also never resolve any issues. If someone brings something to their attention, that person is ignored and seen as a troublemaker. It's a no-win situation. The employees they favor are the ones who smile and nod (and they REALLY FAVOR them).

Good health benefits. PTO is earned as soon as you start your position.

Cons

Pay is low for position compared to other hospitals. Work/life balance is not a priority. No room for growth within the department. Lack of support from management. Non- flexible schedule
