Pros

Great place to work. Legacy takes care of their employees and is strong in home/work balance.

Cons

If you work at the System Office, you now have to pay for parking. They also changed their timekeeping program; all non-exempt employees have to clock in and out for their lunch period.

Pros

Strong community involvement. Nurses are well paid. Efficient senior management. Weathered the recession well and made prudent choices during that time.

Cons

Benefits are not great, but okay. No clinical ladder options for advancement or leadership. No union representation.

Pros

Great team environment. Sense of autonomy. Supportive administration that encourage improvement and has a "just culture". Flexible schedule so you can work around family arrangements. NO UNION CONTRACT.

Cons

There is really no downside to working for Legacy health that is abnormal to the normal situation of working in the healthcare field. You work nights and weekends. Miss some social stuff on occasion but have more time in general for family stuff.
