Pros

LegalZoom itself is a great company. They really want you to succeed. The managers will help you accomplish your goals. Want to become a lead or a manager? They will work with you to get you ready for that position. I'm currently going to school along with working full time and they always work with me on scheduling so I can keep my benefits and still attend class. LegalZoom isn't boring. Everything is always changing and it keeps you on your toes. New products are always rolling out and it's fun to be apart of those pilots and help shape their success. This company understands it's employees and lets them be who they are.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say. I love working here. As I said, things are always changing. If you like things boring and predictable, this isn't the place.

Pros

1) Very Understanding and Supportive Management - being a full-time student while maintaining a part-time job as a sales representative isn't easy. However, management took the time to understand that while my job is important to me, my education was the number one priority. Very VERY flexible on scheduling and understanding of my priorities while keeping me successful at my job. 2) Great Work Environment - The employees here are some of the best I've ever worked with (and I've worked at a lot of sales jobs in my life). Everyone here is supportive of you and your goals, and also takes an interest in your life outside of work. Team outings are so much fun, and weekly meetings keep morale up. They even decorated my desk when I graduated college! 3) Reputable Company - It's great having so many clients call in based on the reference of someone else (friend/business owner) and is extremely reassuring in your work. Hardest part of a sales job, in my opinion, is reassuring the client that your product is of good quality, and although we do have great product, it's easier when people your client knows realize that as well.

Cons

This sales environment is not for those who like stagnant sales. Every week the work changes, so as to keep up with the legal environment changes at the state level. This is necessary, but sometimes hard to keep up with as a part-timer. Luckily, management always takes the time to review things you need to, so having that help there is extremely reassuring.

A Great Place to Work

Pros

I've been here nearly 5 years and have seen the company go through many changes. While sometimes it was a bumpy road, now it seems like things have smoothed out and are heading in the right direction. Throughout it all, the same mission, the same care for employees and customers alike never wavered. As is fairly typical for any company that's trying to remain relevant in an increasingly competitive world, teams and organizational structure have evolved. It seems to me that during this process, those making the changes did the best they could. The fact that we have changed at all is a good sign. It means we're striving to be better. The changes I have seen are a vast improvement over what things used to be like and seem like they are setting us up for greater success in the future. One of the elements of what makes not just a good organization, but an exceptional one, is the degree to which people come out of their silos and work together. The more recent changes seem to be creating more of a global vision for the company. LegalZoom isn't perfect; no company ever is. It's made up of a lot of different people with different experience, personalities, etc. But with all the people I have worked with over the years, everyone seems to have a sense of purpose, respect and lightheartedness that makes working here not a chore, but something to enjoy. The fact that so many people have been here multiple years (5 and up) is proof. Like any employee, I look to learn and grow my own skills as well and have found that LegalZoom has been a great place to do just that.

Cons

The major downsides for me were the lack of cohesive vision, which resulted in multiple bosses. That has since changed. We didn't have the right people for the job.
