Seems to be a disconnect between senior management and employees

Pros

The pay and benefits are excellent. Field employees enjoy a mid-grade travel policy- no 5-star hotels, but you're not confined to Motel6 either. Great, highly knowledgeable and skilled co-workers who watch out for each other. A true team environment where we all work together to get things done.

Cons

Slow to correct processes that don't work. When a change is finally made, it is often worse than what it replaced. No regard for the effect of policy decisions on employees.

Pros

Great learning experience, i.e. Kaizen / Toyota Way. Generally fair and attentive bosses. Feeling of personal satisfaction for helping doctors diagnose cancer and other diseases, knowing that ultimately patients are THE beneficiaries.

Cons

Top US management completely disconnected from reality, operating in vacuum. Relentless cost cutting at all costs. Generally, pay for most position on the lower end of the scale vs comparable in same industry.
