Pros

The CEO is present and gives monthly updates. There are a lot of great forward ideas and teams to execute these ideas.

Cons

There are clicks and if you don't fit in it doesn't matter if you are the only one getting your work done. I had teammates who asked me to slow down on my first week because they were trying to stop the supervisor from putting so much work on them. These team mates would show up late and then spend more time socializing than working. They had all sorts of excuses as to why they didn't get their work done by the deadlines. I had all my work done and even helped them get some of their work done by the deadline, but the director gave them sympathy and said nothing to me. When one of my teammates voiced their dislike to me, going above the supervisor and straight to the director, she was brought in for a disciplinary meeting. Never in my life was I disciplined with a co-worker present. On top of it, when I pointed out that I was being disciplined for not helping out when in fact I had tried to ask that person how I could help many times and put it in writing through email for proof but she refused to respond for me for a week before this meeting. In the end, I was let go because of this conflict. And now the director has been promoted to a higher up in the company. I was then replaced with someone of the same ethnicity as the person who had a problem with me. I was really impressed with this company, but when I saw several good people forced to quit or fired when that didn't happen, it disappointed me such bullying is going on behind a good company. If this continues, I don't see it being a good company for much longer.

Pros

The company is great when it comes to benefits and flexibility based on the role. It also is obviously a brand name that is recognized globally.

Cons

The company seems very new to retail in a lot of ways and is working harder instead of smarter. The corporate structure leads to teams working in silos with conflicting priorities. Unfortunately although the company tries to maintain a great culture, people are stressed and many people are not friendly or fun to work with. No one wants to be held accountable and everyone complains about their fellow coworkers which is a concerning trend.
