Pros

Its a fun job with a fun environment. You get to be yourself with all your customers. They have great benefits when you are a full time employee it kicks in right away.

Cons

They put too much on their employees. They expect too much and when the higher ups are their they cant sell a thing they blame the employees of the store. bad part is there really are no raises and its a crappy company to work Genesco as whole i should say.

the discount is good and that is about it

Cons

really competitive with your coworkers because they judge you on sales percentages. The problem with that is that people have often found way to cheat. They count on you for Loss Prevention and Selling - so if the store get crowded and people steal from you - the first people they suspect is their employees. No raises - only promotions. Sometimes the only one in the store - that means no lunch. They will move you from store to store for reasons unknown to you.
