Pros

Sales/ audit/ embroidery bonuses. Freedom of creativity, always room to advance. If willing to travel, promotion opportunities are limitless. Small manageable staff. Very sports oriented job, keeps management fun and down to earth. Lids is also very big on charity work and fundraising.
Cons
Shrink is a constant concern with this type of specialty retail. Must have good LP skills. Not enough hours available for training. So training can be slow at times, must have excellent training skills and patience. No restroom facilities in kiosk stores, so have to close for breaks ( only a con if you've never worked kiosk retail or have a health problem that requires a lot of restroom use) If u don't work in an outlet, you typically eat in the store for breaks because there is mostly single coverage. No clocking out for lunch breaks during the week, unless that's your state's law ( again, only a con if you've never worked small specialty retail)
