Never worked for a company with such awful upper management and values

Discounts are great Store managers are great people and very loyal Good retail experience

Cons

Upper management is downright awful and unforgiving Product shipment is ALWAYS lacking Expectations for employees is ridiculously unrealistic Pay is too low Hours are too long The focus is more on membership and accessory sales than it is on selling a quality product and keeping what sells in stock. You can't shove unwanted items down a customer's throat. All it does it turn them off from wanting to return. I've seen it hundreds of times.

Great bonus' if you meet your numbers and percentages. It's all about hats! Interactions with customers is cool too. It's about having fun and that's alright.

Cons

Forcible in pitch to customers. Grab two hats and run to the door. Sell embroidery, sell second hat, sell passport discount card, sell accesories. It's good to inform the customer but we had to sell sell sell. Not a typical retail position. More than cashiering and stocking. Sometimes hours allowed could mean cutting staff and/or managment.
