Pros

Got to learn a bit about medical practices and healthcare

Cons

As an employee of LifeStance Health working as a billing specialist, I would not recommend this company to anyone. My experience working for this company was extremely negative and I would advise others to avoid working here if possible. The management at LifeStance Health is completely unorganized and unprofessional. They frequently changed policies without informing employees, causing confusion and frustration. Additionally, the workload was unmanageable and I was constantly overworked and underpaid. Furthermore, the company's billing practices were unethical. I was asked to bill insurance companies for services that were not provided or were not medically necessary. This made me feel as though I was participating in fraudulent activities, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, my experience working for LifeStance Health as a billing specialist was extremely negative. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for an ethical and professional workplace.

Pros

Constant referral flow. You'll never want for clients.

Cons

C suite does not understand behavioral health clinicians. They don't have any idea what our values or motivations are. It is painfully evident in the way that they allow problems to settle with the front-line clinicians. There is no excuse for not getting billing and operations streamlined. This is what clinicians are paying for when they allow the company to take a huge chunk of their billable rate.

Pros

Friendly , helpful, independent with support as needed, good caseload, remote but had office if wanted it

Cons

“Ramping up” salary left me with making less than 3k a month for the first 6 months, this was considered normal and something held from me during the onboarding process. Was lied to about how much I would be making.
