Pros

Work life balance is decent

Cons

Unethical billing practice's, many patients not satisfied with the care they are receiving. Predatory to a vulnerable population.

Pros

Flexible schedule hybrid options for the most part you are pretty autonomous, you can choose to be as engaged or as minimally involved as you'd like

Cons

Pretty much everything. Like others have echoed, pay is absolutely abysmal and as a mental health practitioner, it is completely counterproductive to preach self care to clients when you really are not able to practice it yourself if you actually want to make money at this dump. Bait and switch is an understatement. Unless you work like a dog, 'round the clock, you will not make anywhere near the money quoted by the recruiters or in the job listings. You likely will not ever have a full caseload which means be prepared to be struggling financially. I am leaving ASAP, sign on bonus and contract be damned. This entire fee for service structure and idea to see more clients to make more money should be unethical. This entire company needs to be shut down.

Pros

Complete control over hours, schedule, and patient population seen. Great benefits.

Cons

Little to no PTO or vacation time, horrible work-life balance, mandatory meetings without compensation, horrific and insulting micromanaging, old, out of date office furniture and fixtures. Little support, inefficient administrative staff, terrible EHR. Absolute bait and switch. Salary received was less than half of salary quoted. Reimbursement rates are given as an "average" and not actual credentialed rates. "Contract" referred to as a "handshake agreement" by recruiter but forced to pay back sign on bonus upon resignation because LifeStance never held up their end of the deal. Frequent patient complaints about difficulty reaching provider and erroneous billing, fees, etc...
