Pros

Safety net of decent benefits

Cons

They are using well meaning therapist to take make an obscene profit off of. The amount lifestance makes per session is not clearly stated, but fully licensed therapists are making far less than they deserve for doing ALL of the work. It is like working for an MLM.

Pros

The first few months with LifeStance felt great and supportive when in training and being supported because you are new.

Cons

Colorado has a large intake team that is managed by a completely incompetent manager. Clearly has not managed a team of this size and seems to be too outdated to understand that inclusivity is needed in our world. Actively disrespects team members and plays favoritism for white cis females. Treats the employees like children and speaks down to them. If you stick around for more than 2 months you'll see how much the entire admin team is looking for new roles due to the toxic levels of inappropriate behavior. There is no HR you can go to because the boss and the head of HR are best buds and nothing ever changes.

Pros

I was paid fairly well only because I negotiated a much higher salary for myself. Health insurance was average.

Cons

This review is for Nemeth Counseling, who is now LifeStance. This review is for them because the former owner is still involved as is the CEO. As long as these people are working for, representing, or a part of this company, there will be high turnover. Abusive and intimidating “leadership” from the former owner and current CEO is how clinicians were supervised, right down to time spent off the clock by employees. Dictating modalities of treatment and where clients receive services is unethical. Period.
