There is no work/ life balance at all with Lifestance. Bernie Sanders says it all and it's very eye opening. We work 5 days a week with very minimum PTO to spend with our families. With todays time and the technology that we have, working a 32 hour work week would be the most ideal & would be a win win for us AND the company. Just like hospitals- You can still keep a company running full time to provide exceptional service to our patients and still allow employees to work 32 hour work weeks for a better balance & happiness for us. I'm even sure if Lifestance was to ask "would you be willing to take a pay cut if we lowered your hours?" I know my answer would be 1000% absolutely. More money in Lifestance pocket and more time with my family. In addition to the hours worked issue, we are also forced to cross train to learn other departments. While there very positive reasons for cross training (I honestly LOVE to learn new things) but the kicker is there is no pay increase no matter how advanced you become in learning to be flexible for the company. Lifestance continues for years to ask for our feedback but it's becoming clear it's a waste of time and breath because there is never any positive result from it. Only continues to get worse & we continue to lose so many outstanding employees due to this frustration. It's overall very clear they are only about business and not at all for us. In summary- I can always adapt to change & work duties are not much of the issue, however without a work/ life balance, it all becomes a domino effect & very draining of poor life quality. I'm a strong hard working employee who likes to look for any of the positive within these drastic changes, however I'm now beginning to catch myself often asking why am I still here?... Perhaps because our patients we serve are seeking out to us for mental healthcare? I assume & hope Lifestance can also provide the same care for us.
