Great start so far!

I enjoy being able to be around other psychiatric professionals. My previous job consisted of a small behavioral health department and we had to rely on one another if we had problems. No one in management had a psych background and therefore, didn't understand our needs. I enjoy the office that I work in. Everyone is so helpful and nice.

Cons

We don't have PTO. Federal holidays are built into your pay. Also, it's like working independently so it takes a minute to ramp up your patient caseloads. This may impact the amount of money that you make but they do advances if you choose to do so.

Access to clients, supportive leadership, opportunities to grow, and many opportunities for collaboration.

Cons

Communications can be difficult and out of sync, however I have seen a lot of growth in this area.
