Big disappointment

Pros

Nice diversity among the employees. Benefits and pay were fine.

Cons

- Upper management talked over our heads. - Direct management barely responded to emails, had way too much on their plate, and always seemed distracted when in meetings. - Multiple managers in a very short amount of time made for a very inconsistent and frustrating experience. - The company has an odd obsession with trying to obtain positive reviews. They send out a monthly survey, which I've never seen any other company do. And I'm not at all surprised by the other comments on here that mention having been specifically asked to post a positive review here on Glassdoor after having been terminated. -

Pros

They are very efficient with the way they perform services. There is actual growth opportunity if you go the extra mile and are adamant about your goals.

Cons

The pay isn’t very competitive in the e-Discovery industry. You have to be a real standout or stick around for a long time to get recognition from management.

Pros

Generally good friendly people but the teams are very siloed so it matters which group you are in. Base compensation is acceptable for the hours worked.

Cons

Project managers are largely just order takers. Clarifying communications with clients are discouraged unless approved by management. PMs are not empowered to own project planning and workflow. Communications between internal operations teams are often confusing because roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined. Generally, PM resources are pooled for all ongoing projects which leads to a lack of depth of knowledge and many client facing gaps in quality deliverables. PMs are not empowered to manage projects, rather just complete ticketing tasks. Lighthouse, if you want project managers allow the PMs to manage projects, otherwise you should be hiring analysts. Bonus structure is opaque. Job performance feedback is lacking. Ticketing system and internal workflows are overly complicated and not aligned between operations groups. Onboarding training is lacking, new hires often have to figure it out for themselves or read 10x page descriptions for processing simple tasks. Good place for new career starts to eDiscovery, but if you are interested in developing as a true Project Manager, this is not the place. If you just want to push tickets and clock out this is the place for you. Company emphasizes "life work balance" and has a Flexible PTO policy, but in my experience it is difficult to justify more than 3 days off at a time. Lack of earned PTO leads to ambiguity in employee's being able to claim time off.
