Interesting tech, shortsighted management

Pros

Many of the engineers there are amazing at what they do Interesting and hard problems to solve Cutting edge technology

Cons

Very hard to feel valued as an employee Compensation often below market rates and some benefits lacking Senior leadership often gloss over problems in communications with company and set schedules that are too ambitious and end up leading to oversights

- Everyone has their projects and are valued for their contributions - Friendly environment - You can feel passion for Lightmatter's development - Accessible by public transit - Coffee, lunch places all easily walkable

Cons

- Mixed computer brands, some people with Macs and others with Microsoft - In Downtown Boston, lots of sirens and car traffic - Normal Boston cost for parking
