Pros

Would be cool tech if it was done right Nice office near Govt Center T

Cons

Obvious brokenness in hw/sw design Relentless hostility & threats from management Too many people just not competent, including management Impossible to plan work when management hires people into a team with no warning until the day before they start, and they have the wrong skills.

Challenging and rewarding

Pros

Lightmatter is developing cutting edge semiconductor technology. The work is challenging and, at the same time, rewarding. I like that it is located in downtown Boston—easy walking/biking commute from where I live.

Cons

The company is a growing startup so everyone is expected to work together and contribute. You must be heavily interested in your role, and you must play nice with other people.
