Great people and family-friendly atmosphere. Management trusts staff to do their jobs, and provides huge flexibility in work-life balance. Opportunities for development if you are a self-starter. Low turnover.

Cons

Management lacks innovation and is highly inconsistent in communication to staff. Very little opportunity for professional development.

"Some" great individuals to work with.

Cons

No raises in 4 years... titles handed out for self serving individuals which takes moral down to a new low. Never have worked for a company that doesn't even give cost of living raises, yet upper management takes care of their own.

The pay for a starting instructor was decent

Cons

This is a for-profit college. All the administration cares about is student retention, so you are supposed to pass students through classes even if they show no competency. Many students have extreme behavioral issues that management does little or nothing to address or support staff. The class load given to full-time instructors, plus the extra tasks of calling students who don't show up to class and engaging in extra training make the work load close to 60 hours a week.
