Pros

working with kids, decent pay for a part time job

Cons

lack of transparency from Management, inconsistent hours and scheduling, passive aggressiveness or blatant belittling from management, lack of adequate training to deal with student outbursts and behavior, no room for your own personal thoughts and ideas for how to help a student, even when their process is clearly not working

Pros

Lindamoodbell has a fun environment with a lot of support. There is very thorough training provided from the start and you never felt like you were on your own.

Cons

Some of the work felt repetitive. I was in a smaller office so I sometimes worked with the same student more than once a day so it was hard to keep it interesting for the students as well as myself.

Pros

-Working with students in a fast paced environment can be exhausting but also very rewarding when you see those same students improve drastically within weeks! -The methodology actually works very well for some students -A very positive environment with lots of energy! -The staff is very kind and thoughtful

Cons

-Poor communication between corporate, management, and actual instructors. -The management is often compelled by corporate to sign students even if there is a lack of space/teachers (they are reassured that traveling teachers will be sent- though sometimes they are not) -When you begin going to higher levels of instruction (writing, note-taking, upper math) the methods that are established during clinician training are disgustingly brief. There's no "by-design" approach toward teaching those tasks, and the quality depends on the instructor's past experience
