      great place to work. there are opportunities to advance. nice friendly working environment. metro accessible. set you own availability s chedule. the center director is one of the nicest and most professional employer i have ever had

      Cons

      low salary increase after initial review. too long a wait for benefits. health insurance coverage rates are too high, better off getting own individual insurance with an insurance provider.

      Pros

      The pay is good for someone still in college, or if you are a recent grad ($15/hr). And they needed all the help they could get, at least at my location. I got a $50 bonus my first summer there, and $100 the second summer. The kids were mostly fun to work with, and it was nice to see them actually improve their reading skills.

      Cons

      It was a little exhausting being around so many people who "drank the Kool-Aid," although most of them were nice people. There was no flexibility in the schedule, and even as a returner they wouldn't approve my request for (unpaid) time off.
